Here is the foundational truth we must grapple with:

• Lord is not a title that Jesus has. Lord is a position He holds in our lives.

The Flaw of Unsubmitted Service

We see it often—highly driven individuals, even those engaged vigorously in “Christian service” or doing “His work,” who are still operating by their own internal code. They call Him Lord, but their decisions, reactions, and daily habits show a lack of submission to His Word.
This creates a critical disconnect. As the Executive Wisdom Architect, I teach; to claim that He is our Lord and not be submitted and obedient to His Word is to claim a salvation that is devoid of His Lordship.

Why is this so dangerous? Because it reveals a serious issue at the core of our being: a lack of Holy Fear.
Holy Fear isn’t about cowering; it’s the profound, reverent awareness of who God is—His authority, His power, and the consequence of separating ourselves from His established order. If we can call Him Lord yet habitually ignore, deliberately reject, and disobey His clear directives, then the foundation of our purposeful enterprise is built on sand.

The Danger of ‘Anyhowness’ (And Why Strategy Demands Grace)
In our modern, often charismatic faith environment, there can be a temptation towards “anyhowness”—a casual approach to God’s standards under the guise of freedom or grace.

We try to be clever, choosing the parts of His Word that are convenient and dismissing the parts that challenge our comfort or ego.
But purposeful living requires precision. Generational wealth demands strategic adherence.

Jesus, the ultimate Wisdom Architect, spoke a terrifying word to those who did great things in His name but lived outside of His authority: “And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matthew 7:23).

The Definition of Lawlessness

Lawlessness isn’t just a big sin; it is, fundamentally, a refusal to adhere to the teachings and authority of His Word. It is a lifestyle of deliberate disobedience, treating His blueprint as optional.

Your strategic success—your ability to move beyond short-term wins to your 100-Year Legacy—is directly tied to how seriously you treat the position of Lordship. You cannot design your legacy while ignoring the Master Designer’s instruction manual.

Embracing Your Super Power: Grace for Obedience

So, how do we bridge the gap between our desire to obey and our human tendency to fail?

You cannot rely on willpower. The pressure of the C-Suite, the demands of the market, and the sheer volume of daily decisions will quickly overwhelm a resolution built on human effort.
This is where the power and strategy of the Kingdom step in. For His Lordship to be and remain over us, we cannot try to obey. We must ask for His grace.

Grace, in this context, is not just unmerited favor; it is also the empowerment He supplies to live as He lived. It is the spiritual energy that enables obedience, transforming it from a burdensome task into a natural expression of who you are becoming in Christ.

The Two Steps of Submission:

1. Repent Immediately: When we stumble (and we all do periodically), we must repent immediately and receive His mercy. Remember stumbling is an event; lawlessness is a habit.
   Activate Grace: Confess and declare your reliance on His empowerment, not your own strength.
2. To know Him is to obey Him. This is the hallmark of true faith and the ultimate measure of submission to His Lordship.

Dear friend, stop treating the title of “Lord” as a pleasant, religious nicety. Embrace it as the position that dictates your strategy, protects your legacy, and fuels your purposeful enterprise.
